Kim So Eun in a New Drama

Kim So Eun in a New Drama

It was announced today that Kim So Eun has been officially cast as one of the main characters for new KBS2TV drama The Man Who Can't Get Married opposite Ji Jin Hee.

According to N.O.A. Entertainment, Kim So Eun (20) will be playing a smart, intelligent female in her 20's named Jung Yu Jin. Because of the dire economy situation, she stays in an apartment that a relative has lent her together with her dog. She meets her next door neighbour played by Ji Jin Hee (37) who can't seem to get married because of his unpleasant personality. Sounds familiar? Well, the drama is a remake of the 2006 Japanese drama Kekkon Dekinai Otoko starring Abe Hiroshi. Kim So Eun will be taking on Kuninaka Ryoko's role from the Japanese drama as the 2nd female lead.

Kim So Eun and Ji Jin Hee

The drama plans on airing sometime in early June after Story of a Man and I'll definitely be putting it on my list of things to watch, just because Kim So Eun is in it. And seeing as how she's one of the main characters this time, she'll have even more air time. I guess Boys Over Flowers really gave her the push she needed to start doing main roles and not just supporting ones. Kim So Eun is currently filming for her movie Fourth Period Murder Mystery 4 opposite Yoo Seung Ho which will be out in August.
