Unlike Shin Ae's wedding which was held on the same day, we only got a few handphone quality pictures of Seol Kyeong Gu and Song Yoon Ah who tied the knot this evening in a church wedding at Bangbae-dong, Seoul. The wedding ceremony was attended by more than 500 family, relatives, friends and celebrities as they wished the newly-married couple a blissful life ahead. There were no press conference, interviews, photozone, etc with everything kept as simple as possible. The reasons being that the venue was too small for all of that while also as a mark of respect for their ex-president Roh Moo Hyun. The wedding ceremony was officiated by the church pastor while the church choir sang the nuptial songs.
Both Seol Kyeong Gu and Song Yoon Ah started dating in the summer of 2007 after working on a movie and decided to get married 2 years later. Their new home will be situated in the suburb of Kangnam, Seoul while their honeymoon will have to be put on hold until filming for Seol Kyeong Gu's new movie which begins in June ends.
There was also a huge turnout of celebrities for the church wedding. Most of the shots were taken paparazzi style as the celebrities just walked briskly into the church compound without posing. There were many others who weren't captured on camera (as seen above). Almost all of the guests wore black as requested by the groom, Seol Kyeong Gu as a show of respect to ex-president Roh Moo Hyun.
