2pm + Kids + SuJu = Too Adorable Juniors

With SHINee's Taemin and 2NE1's Gong Minji proving immensely popular with fans at the wee ages of only 15, entertainment companies have decided to take the dongsaeng concept to a whole new level.

Introducing... 아이들 (Children)!

Okay, this hormone-less group really isn't going to show up on the Banks/Cores/Inkis. 아이들 (pronounced Ideul, a play on the English word "idol" and the Korean word for "children") is a pentagon of dancing kids that appeared on the variety show Star King. Sporting SHINee/SNSD-style clothing, the group did a dance medley of 2PM's "Again & Again" and Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry," with some members from the two groups joining in the fun. The kids finished with some interviews and solo dances as the star-studded cast cooed at their aegyo.

The prepubescent five already have the components of an actual K-Pop group. There's the leader, blue pants (Lee Min Soo), who has a natural charisma that reveals itself during the choruses of "Again & Again". You have green pants (Choi Won Hong), who stays mostly in the background but is the best technical dancer (ala SHINee's Taemin and SNSD's Hyoyeon). His dance cover of Taegoon's "Call Me" showed off his smooth movements, and he looks like a natural cutie to boot.

Taller girl (Yeom Yo Seob) revealed in her interview that she is half-Pakistani, adding a bit of overseas spice just as SuJu's Chinese Hankyung and 2PM's Thai Nichkhun do for their respective groups. Plus, she's on the plus side compared to the rest (ala Shindong), a fact the show pokes fun at a bit (sigh... Koreans sometimes). Yellow pants (Jo Sung Mok) acts as the gagman for the group, wildly gyrating to comedic effect (as Heechul and Daesung do for SuJu and Big Bang). The mini Goo Hye Sun look-a-like even danced to Daesung's trot song "It's A Big Hit", just like the Big Bang man often does hilariously on SBS's Family Outing. Heck, the group even has their Jo Kwon - the little boy Yoo Min Sun, whose gender was in question until host Kang Ho Dong asked the androgynous girl/boy.

Analogies aside, blue, yellow, and green pants really do look like they have the qualities for stardom. Talent scouts for entertainment companies have probably noted these guys as potential trainees. Heck, Father SM has probably already scheduled them all for plastic surgery.
