Girls’ Generation / SNSD has hawked everything from chicken to video games. Now the ladies are pushing the favorite food of cash deprived college students and lazy people, like myself, that can’t cook to save their life. No, I’m not talking about ramen, but ramen is a close second; I’m talking about the wonderfully easy to prepare meal, cereal.
Girls’ Generation’s Soo Young, Sunny, and Seo Hyun along with actress Shin Ae Ra filmed a new CF for Post Cereal’s Cranberry Almond Granola.
A representative from Post Cereal stated that Post wants to get away from the idea that cereal is a meal only for children. He went on to say that they decided to choose Girls’ Generation as their CF models for their Cranberry Almond Granola because Girls’ Generation appeals to a wide range of people from young children to adults in their 30’s and 40’s. I think what the Post representative really meant was they chose Girls’ Generation for their CF because they want to make a shitload of cash selling their product to ajuhsshis that have a constant woody for the girl group.
